If you are a newbie magician and you want to learn how to do magic tricks or improve the magic tricks you already know, follow these tips and you are guaranteed to perform magic tricks that will amaze your audience.

Be Natural

The secret to learning how to do magic tricks better starts with your naturalness. There should be no hand wagging, no hand waving, jerky or quick motions. You should work naturally, deliberately, and slowly. If you master this, balls, coins, rings, cards, and coins will begin reappearing and disappearing at the tips of your fingers.

Watching your angles

You should be aware of your angles. Angles refer to the sleight lines between the item that you have just palmed off and the eye of your spectators. If you do not have the right angles, the audience could take a glimpse or see the object in your hand and your trick will be caught.

Practice your palming skills wherever you go

The most necessary skill of a man with a great sleight of hand is the ability or skill of palming an object that goes undetected. You could perfect this after some time of practicing palming small objects like coins in your everyday normal routine. You could palm a small object or item in both of your hands or either while writing, eating, watching TV, walking around, or doing other activities. If you practice care about the angles, no one would notice what you are doing, and after some time, what you are now doing self-consciously would later become almost natural to you. From then on, you could be able to palm objects or items more confidently, boldly, and successful each time.

Master your presentation

Practice your presentation. A small trick that is well presented could work wonders even without the most sophisticated of techniques since the audience would most likely relate to your trick or understand it.

What good is a magician if nobody understands or enjoys his or her tricks? The presentations therefore should be straightforward, simple, and understood easily so that your viewers or watchers could understand and enjoy the complete meaning of what you have been saying and doing.

Do not replicate a trick

Do not repeat the same trick for the same viewers or watchers. That is one of the basic rules in doing magic. When you repeat a trick, your audience would immediately know what you are going to do next. What may have been a miracle for you when you did your trick for the first time may not be quite satisfying or dazzling the next time around, so now that you know how to do magic tricks the right way follow these steps carefully and soon you’ll have your friends and family calling you the next David Blaine.

// ]]>There is a number of fun and easy magic tricks for kids learn to and perform. The key to showing off a magic trick is to practice until you have it perfected. Here is one free magic trick for budding magicians. By trying out the basic magic tricks first, you can later move on to more complicated tricks and stunts to make you a joy to watch. ‘The Magic Bottle Trick’ This is how the trick would look to a spectator: Here’s a great magic trick for kids to perform. First, the performer would ask for a volunteer from the audience. The volunteer would look inside the bottle that the magician is holding and show it off to the rest of the audience as a typical, empty bottle. Then, the volunteer would return the bottle to the magician and also examine the magic wand. The magician will drop the wand into the bottle, then turn the bottle over and let go of the wand. The trick is for the wand to remain suspended inside the bottle. Here are the supplies needed to pull off this magic bottle trick: 1. An eraser. 2. A bottle with a large opening where the wand would fit into. The bottle should be opaque. 3. A ‘magical’ wand which is taller than the bottle. Once you drop the wand into the bottle, part of it should stick up through the opening. Cut off a piece of the eraser and make it be just big enough for you to wedge the wand into the bottle opening. The eraser is the key to make the trick work. This is where the trick comes in: The magician would pass the bottle to a volunteer in the audience to make sure that the container is empty. Then, the magician will take the bottle back and give the wand to a participant in the audience. He would then slip the eraser into the bottle in such a way that it is hidden from everyone in the audience. The wand is taken back and later dropped into the bottle. Afterwards, the wand and the bottle are picked up very slowly, upside down. Then, the wand is slightlypulled while the bottle is being turned over. The eraser then gets wedged into the opening, then the magician lets go of the magic wand and voila! The wand does not fall out. Slowly turn the bottle upright again, let go of everything and the wand remains suspended in the bottle and more importantly, it does not fall back down. The wand is slightly pushed to release the rubber, and it is slowly taken out and finally removed, this is a great magic trick for kids or any beginner to start with, and as their skills increase they can move on to more advanced tricks.

Provided below is a list of other website’s I think would be a great resource for learning magic tricks free online.

// ]]>Have you ever been to a party that is totally dead? And did you wish that someone would come in the room and save the day? Did you maybe daydream that you could be that person and be an instant hero in a room full of beautiful women? Well here’s an idea that may just fulfill this fantasy for you at that next bomb of a party–why not try magic tricks?

That’s right magic tricks! I’m not talking about the huge David Copperfield type illusions and shows. No just several amazing tricks that I have put together that can be done with household items (or items lying around at a party) that require no extra space or props or prep time.

When you think about it these are the most powerful kind of magic tricks anyway right? I mean you are instantly skeptical when you see magician Copperfield on TV doing his thing because its on TV and it is done with all sorts of special equipment and special camera angles. A total production that allows for so much to go on behind the scenes that it really doesn’t have to be magical at all. More like special effects on a movie really.

On the other hand if you were to say pick up a deck of cards and quickly do 2 or 3 magic tricks without any prep or specially prepared deck then you would truly be magical wouldn’t you. And I’m not talking about the 4 jacks in a house that’s on fire or the 9 stacks of cards with the chosen card specially placed to come out on top. These are lame. I’m talking about cards levitating and disappearing and reappearing. That sounds magical and amazing and hero creating now doesn’t it.

The cool part about these magic tricks is that they don’t require anything more than several hours of practice perfecting techniques and more importantly the knowledge that makes selling the trick easy. This after all is the true skill of a magician. Making the unbelievable seem very ordinary and matter of fact for you.

This knowledge needs to cost something too when you think about it. If it were free than everyone online would know how to do the magic tricks and they wouldn’t be very magical anymore would they. So I don’t feel bad for charging for my expertise. It both protects my livelihood and protects the art of magic. You can learn this same skill from me for free just by signing up for my free magic course and going through my site, you’ll learn all the basics that you need to take you to the next level.

Magic tricks are enjoyed by people from all over the world. It is something that seems to be a universal language that entertains both young and old.

Many people attempt to become amateur magicians as a way of entertaining family and friends. If someone wants to become a good magician, it would be helpful to know the different varieties of magic tricks before performing them.

The first type that most people are familiar with is stage magic. This is the most difficult type of magic trick and is often associated with famous magicians such as David Copperfield, Lance Burton, and David Blaine. These types of magic tricks require a great deal of skill to perform and usually involve grand schemes like making a large landmark disappear or walking through walls.

The next type is called platform magic and is done on a somewhat smaller scale. These type of magic tricks are quite a bit easier to perform than most stage magic tricks and involve tricks such as sawing a person in half or levitating.

And finally, the last type of magic trick is called close up magic. This type requires the least amount of skill and can be learned with a little effort. These type of magic tricks include magic card tricks, coin tricks, cigarette through quarter, pencil through bill etc.

There are many different tricks that can be learned by just about anyone willing to practice. The secret to remember is to never reveal how you do your magic tricks to your audience.

The quickest path to achieving your status as a master magician is to be able to perform Brand Cialis Online magic tricks at a moments notice using a wide variety of borrowed objects. If you are handed a pencil, a coin, a handkerchief, or a dollar bill, you should be able to perform at least one magic trick with any of these objects. Another key thing to remember is that only a tiny fraction of the magic is what you do, and the rest is how you do it. If speaking candidly, many magicians would tell you that most of the tricks they perform are very easy, but to the audience, they are spectacular! It is all about how you present yourself to the audience: your timing, your sense of humor and your ability to distract are very important. So remember, with a little practice and showmanship, you can learn to be the life of the party by performing simple magic tricks..

// ]]>While the magic tricks are great, most are easy to do. Magic tricks are designed to please crowds, which inevitably forms a favorable opinion of you at most gatherings. Magic tricks are the most popular form of magic entertainment. Self-working magic tricks are effects that require essentially no skill, and can be learned in a few minutes. Magic tricks are often amusing, surprising and make us think. Magic tricks are based on scientific principles but people do not seem to connect magic and science. The best magic tricks are based on simple premises.

// ]]>I’m often asked what the best way to start to learn how to do magic tricks would be, and although it can be different from person to person, I’m sure I can provide a few hints and tips that may help and probably more importantly, – what you should try to avoid.

I think the most important thing to do when just starting to dabble in magic, is to learn a few simple magic tricks that can be done without having to use any gimmicked apparatus or special props. I mean magic tricks that can be done using ordinary items that can often be borrowed and handed out for examination after the miracle has been performed.

This can be really stunning for any lay audience, as they are so used to seeing magic tricks and illusions on TV and video, where fancy and often expensive props are used and also where camera tricks and clever editing are used to create a more exciting TV program.

I’m sure you’re well aware that most magic can be purchased from reputable magic suppliers and you’ll also know that the cost of most magical secrets is usually very high. (Often very expensive)

So how can you possibly learn how to do magic tricks without spending a great deal of money for these secrets and when most top magicians will just not explain how their magic tricks are done.

Most magicians first started to do magic tricks after receiving a small magic set, but unfortunately the typical magic set is usually made up totally of “self-working” tricks, with trick cards and boxes etc., none of which can be examined by the audience after the trick has been shown, and so there’s the problem and worry of having to hide your tricks as soon as you finish each one.

For a beginner this creates a problem, especially among friends and classmates, who are always desperate to examine the magical props and try to find out “how it’s done”.

So that’s why I suggest learning some simple magic tricks with ordinary everyday objects that can often be borrowed and then freely handed out for examination. Ordinary everyday items like coins, pens, banknotes and such like, appear to be beyond any suspicion of trickery and doing magical things with them is so very effective and yet often very simple.

This really adds tremendously to the magic and of course, as most professional magicians will tell you, – “the simple effects are the ones that are usually the most stunning to the audience and in my experience, get the best response”.

Some of the best items to use to amaze your friends are coins, banknotes, pens, rope etc. and there are a few basic skills that are so easy to learn and will very quickly allow you to vanish and exchange coins and several small objects.

One of these basic skills is known as the “French Drop”, which is what all magicians use to vanish and exchange small items like coins, keys, balls etc. So I would certainly recommend that one of the first things that you should practice, as a beginner, is just that (French Drop) and coupled with the simple Palming of a coin.

This will allow you to carry out a nice magic routine with borrowed coins etc. and will leave you “Clean” at the end of the effects. It will also get you out of difficulty when you are expected to do something magical.

This is magic that requires no props or fancy apparatus and there are now many great magical Websites where you can learn hosts of magic tricks for free.

In fact I set up my own Magic Website with the soul purpose of passing on my experience and knowledge to help all those eager would-be magicians to enjoy the sheer joy and pleasure of performing magic and entertaining others.

So in today’s digital Internet world you can get some amazing and exciting magic for free if you just search for and visit the right magic websites. – So go ahead and look around and welcome to the wonderful world of magic..

// ]]>This easy magic trick will show you how to do a simple card trick and teach your friends not to make assumptions.

The Trick: You happen to be in a room with a group of friends and a pack of cards. Here’s how to make some easy money out of them with a simple card trick. Start by asking someone to pick any card from the deck, show the rest of the people in the room and then slide the card back into the pack. You shuffle the deck and then start turning the cards over one by one until you see the card that your friend choose. At this point you bet everyone in the room a certain amount of money, perhaps $1 or $5, that the next card you turn over will be the one that was originally selected.

As the selected card has already been turned up, at least one of your friends will assume that they can’t lose and accept the bet.

Once the bet is made, you simply turn over the card on top of the pile of cards that have already been revealed and collect your winnings.

The Explanation: Right, for all of you who can’t figure out how to do this trick, here’s what happens.

Take a normal pack of playing cards, shuffle them well, fan them out and ask one of your friends to pick a card. At this stage it doesn’t matter what card they select. Unlike many card tricks you don’t have to use sleight of hand to force them to choose the card of your choice.

Once they’ve taken a card, it’s a good idea to ask them to show it to the rest of the people in the room. This will increase the chances of someone accepting your bet later on. After everyone except you has seen the card, shuffle the rest of the pack, cut it in the middle and let the person return their card to the pack.

This is the key to the trick. When you separate the pack to let them return the card, take a subtle look at the card that will be placed on top of their card when you put the pack together. Make sure nobody sees you doing this. This is where the ability to keep talking to distract your audience comes in useful.

Once you’ve placed the pack together, cut the deck a number of times, making sure that you take note of the bottom card after the last cut. If it’s the card that was on top of the selected card cut the pack once more. This will make sure that your card is put back on top of the selected card.

Put the deck face down on the table and start turning the cards over one by one. Keep going until you see the card that you made a note of appear and then turn one more card (this will be the card that was originally selected by your friend). Make it look as though you’re about to turn the next card, then stop and bet anyone in the room a certain amount of money that the next card you turn over will be the one that was initially chosen.

As soon as somebody accepts the bet, turn the selected card face down and collect your winnings.

// ]]>Here are two close up magic tricks that involve a plastic beaker. Both tricks are easy to perform and easy to prepare, yet provide a powerful effect that will entertain your spectators.

Trick 1: The Disappearing Beaker

You show the audience a tray with a small beaker on it. You cover the beaker with a napkin, take hold of the beaker and then remove the tray. Suddenly, you throw the napkin into the air and the beaker has vanished.

The Preparation

Take a small wooden tray and glue a small plastic beaker to the center of the tray. Next take a cloth napkin or a hankerchief and sew a small circle of cardboard (the same size as the top of the plastic beaker) into the center of the napkin/hankerchief.

The Secret

Show the beaker in the center of the tray, them cover it with the napkin so the cardboard circle is over the top of the beaker. As you lift the napkin, hold the cardboard disc in the napkin so that it looks as if you’re holding the rim of the beaker. As you remove the napkin turn the tray with the beaker away from the audience and stand it against something behind your table.

Everyone will think that you still have the beaker in your hand. But when you throw the napkin in the air and catch it, they will know that it has vanished.

Trick 2: Beaker Through The Table

A small beaker is wrapped in a sheet of newspaper and then disappears only to reappear under the table.

The Preparation

Gather together a small beaker, a small object that will fit under the beaker and a sheet of newspaper. Make sure that the piece of newspaper is larger than the beaker so that it can be completely covered with extra to spare.

The Secret

Place the small object of interest on the edge of the table. Then place the beaker upside down over the object and finally wrap the newspaper around the beaker. Now ask the audience what is under the cup. This will lead them to believe that you are about to make the object disappear.

Next, lift the paper and the beaker to show the audience that the object is still on the table. As you lift the beaker, move it slowly towards you until it is just clear of the table.

Now let the beaker discreetly slip from the newspaper and land on your lap. The audience should have their attention fixed on the object, so this should be easy to achieve without them noticing.

The newspaper should hold its shape so that your spectators assume the beaker is still in your hand. Replace the paper over the object (still maintaining the shape of the beaker).

Say the magic words and say that the object will disappear. Lift the “beaker” and look puzzled that the object hasn’t vanished. Pick up the object and replace the “beaker”.

Tell your audience that you can’t make the object disappear, so you’ll have to try the beaker instead and promptly smash your hand containing the newspaper onto the surface of the table.

The newspaper will squash flat and the audience will gasp. Now you can claim that the beaker has passed through the table and prove it by bringing it out from your lap under the table..

// ]]>Black art is an old form of magic that is rarely used today in its original form. The effect black art produces is fantastic, it is as close to trick photography as you can get without a camera!

A magician practicing black art will find a stage and dim the lights. While he and his assistants are wearing white, the audience can see them. The performers then command items to appear and move around. Versions of ’sawing a woman in half’ are performed and you can see the two halves moving round the stage, only to be melted back together, or just vanish. The possibilities are endless, and all leave the audience feeling mystified.

The theory behind black art is that everything in black won’t be seen against a black background. This means at the start of the performance, there can be many items on the stage covered in a black cloth and they won’t be seen. The magician simply removes the cloth and voila, an item has appeared. Disembodied bodies can move around by wearing black trousers, or a black jumper. Assistants dressed completely in black can make objects, including people, fly around the stage.

This form of magic really allows the imagination to go wild. Many things are possible with a bit of creativity and a pot of black paint! Black art is truly the cleverest and easiest magic to perform.

Black art is often performed in silence as it is a mystical event to watch, however do not be afraid to talk – your voice will be very powerful coming from the darkness, heightening the illusion.

Although to you, the performer, nothing will seem like magic, to the audience, the whole performance will blow their minds away. It is highly recommended to make a video of the performance so you can see the show from the other side of the stage. From your side of the stage, everything is visible – you can see the props and assistants.

To improve the illusion, some artists have lights above, below and to the side of the stage gently shining at the audience to further reduce the amount they can see. In complete darkness, however, a very eerie performance can be achieved. Another option is to use ‘black-light’ (i.e. UV light), which makes white and several other colors come to life, leaving black in darkness.

To end the performance, the magician has many possibilities ranging from floating off the stage, to gradually being engulfed by darkness (to do this, use a large piece of black cloth that starts on the floor and is slowly lifted up by two assistants to block you from view).

In a nutshell, your imagination and creativity is the only limit to this fine art..
